Wakeboarding is practised mainly on lakes and has recently come into fashion. This sport is a blend of snowboarding, water skiing and surfing. It involves using a board, similar to a snowboard, but gliding across the water instead of snow. It can be practised starting from age seven and you will be towed by a system similar to a ski lift, enjoying the thrill of high speed and attempting various tricks on your board.
Wakeboarding is offered also in Trentino, the region of lakes par excellence. You can give it a go at Lake Ledro and Lake Terlago. Below, you can find the centres where you can practise this entertaining sport. Have fun!
