Predazzo is situated in the upper Val di Fiemme, right at the confluence of the Travignolo stream and the Avisio river
Predazzo is home to the Geological Museum of the Dolomites where visitors can discover the geological history and the mineralogical findings of the surrounding mountains. In summer you can practise numerous activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, cycling and trekking.
In winter it turns into a paradise for ski and cross-country ski enthusiasts. The Ski Center Latemar and the Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia skiing areas are accessible from the village.
With around 4,500 inhabitants, Predazzo is the highest municipality of the Val di Fiemme. The village includes the quarters of Poz, Fosìne-La Bìra, Molin, Ischia, Sommavilla, Piè de Pardac, Borgonuovo and Is-ciòn.
